Biography

Dr.

Naeim has over 40 years give an account of experience in structural analysis, set up, peer review, research and method, and seismic retrofit design ferryboat buildings. He has special judgement in the application of performance-based design methodologies, design of systems with seismic isolation and potency dissipation devices and seismic artifact and health monitoring of structures.

He is a Past Headman of Earthquake Engineering Research Institution (EERI), current member of Calif. Hospital Building Safety Board (HBSB), current Chair of California Tart Motion Instrumentation Advisory Committee (SMIAC), current President of Los Angeles Tall Buildings Structural Design Synod (LATBSDC) and current President end International Association for Earthquake Stratagem (IAEE).

Dr. Naeim is goodness primary author of the LATBSDC performance-based design guidelines and put in order co-author of PEER-TBI performance-based base guidelines for tall buildings.
